The 2011 gardening season has come to an end, but we’re already planning for next year! Visit this section of the website early in 2012 to view upcoming favourites for the 2012 gardening season.

‘Blackberry Punch’ Superbells

Superbells are the perfect choice for the low maintenance gardener.  Smothered with hundreds of blooms, this sun loving selection will stay compact and bushy all summer long.

‘Intensia Blueberry’ Phlox

This vigorous filler is smothered with intense purple –blue blossoms all summer.  A great choice for edging borders or filling containers with constant colour.

‘Black Velvet’ Petunia 

Like the perfect little black dress, this petunia is sure to impress!  Pair with ‘Diamond Frost’ Euphorbia for a truly elegant combination in containers.  Also new:  Phantom; black blooms with a yellow star and Pinstripe; black blooms with a creamy star.

‘Spring Celebrities’ Hollyhock

A new take on a traditional favourite.  Huge 3” blooms on sturdy stocks all summer make this a perfect choice for your containers or borders.  Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.

‘Twist and Twirl’ Coleus

Unique foliage twists and twirls in a combination of yellow, green, red and purple.  Though this new selection will tolerate full sun, it’s a wonderful way to add colour to any shady space.

New Guinea ‘Sun Patiens’

Though Impatiens are traditionally a staple in many shade gardens, Sunpatiens are an amazing new selection bred specifically to handle hot, sunny areas as well as cool shade.   Thick glossy green foliage covered with pink, orange, red or white blossoms all summer long.

Pepper ‘Gigante Jalepeno’

The largest Jalapeno on the market, this is the perfect pepper for stuffing or fresh salsa.  Harvest when green or red; peppers grow up to 6”.  80 days to maturity.

    
   
 

 
 

Lettuce ‘Heatwave Blend’

Feast both your eyes and your palette on lettuces that thrive in the heat, and remain productive and tasty longer than all others. Our choice “slow bolt” varieties include: green and red crisphead, green romaine, and multiple textures and colors of looseleaf.

   
   
 

 
 

Tomato ‘Fresh Salsa’
