Eldorado Feather Reed Grass
Calamagrostis ‘Eldorado’

A variegated selection of Feather Reed Grass, ‘Eldorado’ features green leaves with a bright white stripe down the middle. Thick clumps are topped by feathery greenish-mauve plumes in early to midsummer, maturing into stiff wheat-coloured spikes. Fantastic winter interest, may be used in large groupings towards the back of a border, but also very effective when used as a single specimen.




Blue Fescue
Festuca ‘Elijah Blue’

Considered to be one of the best blue selections, ‘Elijah Blue’ features tidy clumps of grassy blue foliage topped with tan spikes in from early summer onwards. Excellent for mass planting, edging, or in the rock garden. Ht: 12-15” Sp: 12-15”





Blue Oat Grass
Blue Oat Grass (Helictrotrichon sempervirens)

One of the best blue-leaved grasses for average garden conditions. Plants form a well-behaved clump of bright silvery-blue leaves, with arching stems of flowers appearing in early summer. Looks stunning against burgundy leafed perennials and shrubs. Non-spreading, requires good drainage. Ht: 2-3ft  Sp: 2-3ft



Moor Grass Skyracer
Tall Moor Grass (Molinia ‘Skyracer’)

A dramatic and unusual species that makes a great specimen plant for the border. Forms a medium-sized clump of cascading green leaves, bearing very tall, arching stems of airy yellow flowers, almost like a fountain in effect. Flower stems are in nearly constant motion from even the slightest breeze. Spectacular bronzy-gold fall colour. Ht: 4-6ft  Sp: 2-3ft





Flamingo Maiden Grass
Miscanthus ‘Flamingo’

Grown for it’s beautiful rose pink blooms in late summer and fall. Flowers rise gracefully above thick clumps of green foliage that turn a stunning orange-gold in the fall. A beautiful all-season perennial, this selection blooms earlier than others, making it perfect for Alberta. Ht: 5-6ft Sp: 3-4ft
