Lilac
If you’re seeking a low growing hedge that will be filled with colour in spring, there are several low growing lilacs to choose from. Each variety has a pic:
Dwarf Korean
This low growing shrub measures about 3’ x 3’ and produces pink/purple coloured blossoms that are smaller than traditional lilacs, but smother the entire shrub.
Tinkerbelle
Similar to Dwarf Korean in habit but with bright pink blossoms
Bloomerang
A new selection of the Dwarf Korean lilac that produces lilac coloured blooms in spring, then a second set of blossoms later in summer.
Prairie Petite
Unlike the other lilacs above, this variety has the wide leaf of the traditional hardy lilac, but with a compact height to suit any yard. |
